Bran may have already doomed Westeros in the most boring way possible

Remember how riveting it was to watch Bran hang out in a tree for pretty much all of Season 6? Remember how that was somehow more interesting than his interminable journey into Nowhere, Westeros for about two entire seasons before that?  Well true to form, Bran might have found the most boring way possible to move forward a critical piece of Game of Thrones' plot. It is known that Bran is not the first Bran Stark to have been at the center of major historical events in Westeros. But some Game of Read more [...]

Ed Sheeran says he did not delete his Twitter account because of ‘Game of Thrones’

Many internet denizens weren't so pleased with Ed Sheeran's musical cameo in Game of Thrones — so much so that when he deleted his Twitter account the next day, people assumed he'd been driven away by critics.  But Ed Sheeran says that is not the case. In fact, Ed Sheeran is pleased with his Game of Thrones performance, and no one can take that away from him. Is Ed Sheeran incredible, or is he the best musician to have ever lived?

If you've heard his songs, which, given your possession of a Wi-Fi enabled device, you almost certainly have, chances are you have a strong opinion about singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran.  Sheeran's catchy, acoustic ballads are contentious, to say the least. Something about the singer has seemingly split the world down the middle between those who like Ed Sheeran and those who feel... differently. After the musician appeared on the Season 7 premiere of Game of Thrones, the debate began again, stronger Read more [...]

At one point, one day after the show's Season 7 premiere, over 130,000 people were sharing various torrents of the episode, according to TorrentFreak. But those Read more [...]

10 TV panels you can’t miss at San Diego Comic-Con

We’ve got some questions for Beric Dondarrian and the Lord of Light

If the Game of Thrones Season 7 premiere taught us anything, it was to keep an eye-patch squarely focused on Beric Dondarrion's shenanigans. He and his shifty red priest, Thoros — who's man bun is fooling no one, especially not the Hound — are up to something. Also known as Westeros' Friendly Neighborhood Frankenstein, Beric is the dude from the Brotherhood Without Banners who Thoros keeps bringing back from the dead like it's a party trick. One reason to keep an eye on Beric this season is that Read more [...]
